Here in our community, we understand the unique challenges faced by those with special needs, from early in childhood through to adulthood. And we take steps to be of service in a variety of ways, keeping out Texan spirit with us the entire time.
Here at Runnin’ WJ Ranch in Texarkana, TX, we know how important community is for special needs individuals. That’s why we developed our therapeutic riding program, which uses the engaging activity of horseback riding to provide an avenue for development. With the gentle swaying of a horse, they can begin to expand their capabilities through a stronger core and increased sense of balance. For those with emotional or behavioral limitations, simply interacting with another living being is a great place to start.

With our PATH International-accredited riding instructors, your little one has the opportunity to experience the world in a new way.

For adults with special needs, finding a place to work is about more than just a paycheck. Everyone needs to have a place where they can feel like they are making a positive impact, and a career is a great way to do that. Unfortunately, many employers are just not set up for success in this area. This can leave special needs folks to be left at home or with a caretaker, and we want them to have to opportunity to engage with life.
